Guan Housheng

Guan was born in 1948 , Haerbin. And in 1986 he completed a printmaking course at CAFA. Now he is member of Chinese Printmakers' Association, First - grade State artist and Chinese Artists' Association.He is also a member of Artists' Association of Heilongjiang Province. At present he holds the position of director of printmaking creation in the Haerbin arts institute.

Awards:

His artwork won the first prize seven times on the art exhibition of Heilongjiang Province

1980 < Birds singing in the forest > was selected in the 2th National youth Art Exhibition,and won the third prize.

1982 < In the spring festival > was selected in the 8th National print Exhibition, and won the excellent prize.

1986 < Old sunflower > was selected in the 6th print Exhibition of Heilongjiang and won the gold prize .

1999 The artwork won the Luxun Prize of the National Printmakers' Association

2001 < Fall sacrificial > won the achievement prize of Heilongjiang retrospective art exhibition.
