Daibin was born in July 1948, in the south of Anhui province. He graduated from the School of Fine Arts of Maanshan Teacher's College. Presently, he is a professional artist and a member of the Chinese Printmakers Association, and a representative of new Anhui-print school.
He starts to create woodblock prints in the early 1970s. Most of his works have been shown national-wide at various Fine Arts Exhibitions. Furthermore, he has received many awards, both locally and internationally. Some of prints were collected by the China Art Gallery and National Prints Museum. And his name is among those listed on Chinese Artists Directory and Chinese Artists Dictionary.
At the beginning of the new century, Daibin has created a collection of print works that reflect the culture of Anhui, which received warm affection from the large number of collectors.
Oct.1974, Prints <Competition's Flowers> was selected in the National Art Exhibition, collected by the China Art Gallery and was exhibited in the East Europe from country to country later this year.
Apr.1981 Joined the Anhui Artists' Association.
Nov. 1983, Print < The First Snow in The Oil City> was selected in the National Prints Exhibition of Petrochemical Industry, organized by Chinese Artists' Association, Chinese Printmakers Association and the Labour Union of Chinese Petrochemical Industry, and won the Gold Metal. The print was collected by the <Yearbook of Chinese Prints, 1983> after the exhibition.
Feb. 1984, Joined the Chinese Printmakers Association.
Oct. 1987, Print <White Dragon's Recitation> exhibited in Japan.
Jul. 1988, Print < Chasing the Cloud> was selected by the National Fine Arts Exhibition of Petrochemical Industry, organized by Chinese Artists' Association and the Labour Union of Chinese Petrochemical Industry. It won the Gold Metal, and was published in the front paper of <Fine Art>, the 58th journal 1989.
May 1989, Print <Morning> won the Gold Metal of the National Workers' Fine Art Exhibition, published in <Fine Art>, the 88th journal 1989.
Jul. 1993, Print <Our World> selected by the second National Fine Art Exhibition of Petrochemical Industry, and won the Silver Prize. It was published in <Fine Art> (The 10th journal 1993), and collected by National Prints Museum.
Nov. 1993, Solo Exhibition on Singapore and Malaysian
Oct.1996, Solo Exhibition on Hong Kong
Jul. 1997, <Modern Black-White Ornamental Painting> collection was published by World Book Publishing Corporation Beijing, national issued.
Jan. 2003, some prints were selected by the < Master's Prints step into common people's life> Exhibition in Anhui, such as <Impression of Blue-and-white Porcelain>. And all the exhibited works have been collected.
Oct.2004, Print <With Seasons Revolved, Years Never Memorized> selected by "New Century, the First Fine Art Exhibition of Anhui and received the nomination Prize.
