Only the gorgeous and beautiful mountains and multi national cultures at Simao of Yunnan province can gestate such an artist like Zhang Xiaochun, in fact, he is a troubadour, with his incisive and exact feeling ability, he shows us the life and the landscape of this dreaming region by his waste block prints. It’s not hard for us to experience the magnificent verve. His artworks are not only for drawing but also for recite stories, his prints are just like himself, meticulous, convergent and abundant. The living scenes of minorities in his artworks are so real but also full of mystery, they’re touching so deeply our hearts. They make us intoxicating, that’s the charm of art.

Member of Chinese Artists Association, Chinese Printmakers Association, Yun Nan Artists Association, his woodblock reduction prints were showed often at national and international exposition, like U.S.A, Japan, Spain and Taiwan.
