Shan Dan
Shan Dan, Dawoer minority, she was born in Inner Mongolia in 1954. Now she is member of Chinese Artists' Association, member of Chinese Printmakers' Association, member of Chinese Art Education Seminar, vice president of Tongliao city's Artists' Association, and vice professor of Tongliao Professional Institut of Inner Mongolia.
She finished her studies at Normal School of Tongliao Zelimumeng, and continued her graduated studies at Central Academy of Fine Arts. From 1973, she began her creations of New Year Painting, paper-cut, illustration, prints and traditional paintings. Her artworks were shown at National and International exhibitions.
Her representative artworks: <Wolf on red ox>, <My home>, <Saint fire>, <Pray>, <Happy water and clouds>, <Spring wind>, <Spring illusion>, <Eyes' luxury> etc.

Awards: 1987 won the third prize of the first National Children's Reading Matter Illustration
1988 won the third prize of the National Exlibris Contest
1990 won the silver prize of the National Exlibris exhibition, and collected by national and provincial art museum
1998 First solo exhibition at China Fine Arts Museum
1999 honored as outstanding printmaker of 1980' by Luxun print prize
