Estampa 08 The 16th International Print and Contemporary Art Editions Fair

Presently the 16th international print and contemporary art editions fair is going on in Juan Carlos I Parque, Madrid, Spain. It began on Oct. 29th and ends on Nov. 2nd, five days in total. It is absolutely a print feast.

This fair attracts well-known galleries in Spain and art workers from all over the world. There are over 80 show stands. It opens from am 11:00 to pm 9:00（Local Time）. Lots of local visitors queue up at the gate waiting to enter this European annual print feast.

Please note that there is also exhibitor from Taiwan. Hoke Art and KWLF Arts Foundation exhibits prints by Taiwanese and Chinese printmaker including Taiwan famous print artist Liao Hsiu-Ping. Strong eastern style attracts attention of on site media and visitors.

Chang Chia- Yu, the professor of art department, National Chiayi University, who has attended Estampa many times, is invited by Hoke Art as its curator for this fair, an exhibiting artist as well. She said in an interview, compared with past fairs, this one is more active in arrangement. What’s more, the prints Hoke Art selected are quite different from other galleries and give the visitors a new and fresh view. The passion of visitors also left deep impression in her memory.

The exhibition concept of this stand originated from the care for contemporary art in recent 15 years, especially the development of technology, multi-media elements and concept in printmaking field with the hope to make this exhibition be the platform of communication and achievement presenting.
