As a long history art type, printmaking plays an important role in Chinese art. KWLF Prints Gallery is a professional gallery which focuses on exhibiting, collecting and studying Chinese contemporary prints.

KWLF Prints Gallery is the first folk prints gallery as well as the largest scale prints gallery in China covering 375㎡ and locates in Festival Place, Liangzhu Cultural Place, Hangzhou. Its main body is archaized attic architecture facilitated with exhibition room, art service, book room and a dining room.

Our gallery has collected more than 10 thousand pieces of contemporary prints and folk art works. Walasse Ding, Chen Yongle, Hao Boyi, Hao Ping, Yu Chengyou, Zhang Minjie, Zhang Yongqing, Chen Yuqiang, Chen Long, Gu Zhijun, Li Xiu, Li Yitai, Shi Yi, Sun Jiao, Wang Bing, Jin Baoping, Zhao Haipeng, Zheng Xu, Ma Li, Zhang Xiaochun, Li Yanpeng, Lv Min, Fang Liming, Lin Junwu, Shen Mingyi, Wang Chao, Wang Zhouliang, Pan Yiyu, Wu Enqi, Shan Dan, Huang Taihua, Chen Yuping, Guan Housheng, Zheng Zijiang, An Yumin, Dai Bin, Tan Xiaoni, Zhang Biao, Zhang Xianghui, Chen Haorui, Zhang Guilin, Lu Lifeng, Liu Yan all donate many prints to us. Our collection includes not only masters’ works as Zao Wou-ki, Chu The-chun but also lots of brilliant works by emerging artists.

Additionally, KWLF Prints Gallery has published “Century Prints”, “Bibliography of Chu Teh-chun”, “Contemporary Chinese Art”, “Hu Xiaojun’s Ceramic Art”, “Gu Zhijun Printmaking”, “Shi Yi Printmaking” and so on. What’s more, we have held successfully several academic meetings and issued out many professional articles.
